Today team Crossroads returned to Canaan. In the medical and
dental clinic, team members helped out in registration, triage, exam rooms,
pharmacy, and helping Junior in the dental room. Today each patient was sent
home with a bag of soap, washcloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss, which
the team brought down and assembled. The patients were very thankful to receive
these. Other team members were busy assembling the new school desks for the
Bethanie School of Canaan. And of course there was some time for playing with
the kids. Since the day got cut a bit short in order to make it back to the
guesthouse before the rain came, the team had some time to hang out and relax. We’re
thankful that the storm headed in a different direction. Depending on the
conditions of the roads tomorrow, we plan to return to Canaan for another day
of construction projects and medical and dental clinics.
