Today was another awesome day with this team in Haiti. We made a trip to Canaan to visit some of the families there. We were welcomed with open arms! It has been 7 months since any of us from AWAKENHAITI have been there.
Things are looking great, the school is working through report cards, exam results and parent meetings. There is more work being done on the security wall around the property.
We made our way to visit Nadege, Suzette's three daughters, and Emily. After some great sharing, we prayed with each one asking for blessings over their homes. This is always a very special time!
We made our way to the girls home to say good bye to them tonight. It's a bittersweet thing. We all miss our families and of course want to be with them, but it is also difficult to leave the kids we've spent the past week with.
Tomorrow, we will pack up and go to visit our boys one last time before we head to the souvenir market, then to the airport.
