What an awesome day Team May had in Canaan! The building is moving along so quickly. God weaved this team together with just the
right gifts to match the needs of the work that needs to be done on the
building. Several different types of
gifts matched up with several different parts of the building!
It’s an amazing thing when we see God’s hand so intricately
working!
The dental office was buzzing with patients as well while
Dr. Eddy taught Junior some new skills and gave him the opportunity to try
them.
The medical clinic was busy as well treating and encouraging
patients. One of our special patients
was a 21 year old, just a baby herself who is just weeks away from the due date
of her baby. Her mother died and her
boyfriend left her. Fortunately, God
blessed her with a loving step-mother who is willing to get her to the hospital
when it’s time and help her with the baby.
This is very culturally abnormal for a step-mother to care for a child
who is not biologically theirs. It was
an honor for a small group of women to spend time offering her encouragement
and prayer. Please pray for this young
mom who is very frightened about the next few months.
We’re all thankful to be part of God’s work and ministry in
Canaan!
