Thank you Kadee!

     Kadee came to Haiti from Canada three years in a row with teams, each time growing more in her understanding of what it means to love others and to really live in relationship with Christ.
     She loves being in other countries so much she gave up her first year of university to work internationally.  She spent the fall and early part of the winter serving in the Dominican Republic and Brazil.  Shortly after returning to Canada, Jeff and Deb invited Kadee to join them in Haiti to help finish the school year with their daughter Brooke and to help with team care.
   Kadee arrived in Haiti in April and gave it her all.  In an environment where one can feel daily isolation and the frustrations of a foreign culture, there is also the assurance and peace that God invites us into his ministry for His purposes.  In this assurance God strengthens, stretches, provides, and equips.

    Kadee we appreciate the time you served with AWAKENHAITI!  For reaching out of your level comfort to school Brooke, for the many endless tasks involved in running teams and daily living in Haiti, for being willing to say yes, THANK YOU!
     We pray for you as you pursue your education and your dreams!  We pray God would continue to guide you and that you would be "wide awake" to all He has in store for you!

Team June I

     Team June I has had a great week in Haiti!  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were spent in Canaan with many different jobs going on at one time.  Through the week the team was wiring buildings, hanging interior walls, painting, helping some ladies with laundry, making visits, praying with Suzette, and playing with kids.
     This team has been a blessing to the community of Canaan, the children of Good Samaritan, and to the Denlinger family!  God put this team together for His purposes!
     It has been a blessing to also experience God stretching, growing and challenging team members through the week while they worked together.


     Thank you Team June I for bringing your gifts, giving your time and love to the people AWAKENHAITI ministers to!
